BY STUDYING AT ITESO
You follow a study plan in emerging fields of formation based on an analytical framework grounded in political science, public administration and policy-making, in order to understand the phenomenon of power and its historical, sociological and organizational nature. You develop the ability to understand the complexity of the political sphere and to intervene in it, based on both technical and qualitative criteria. You act with respect for the restrictions of the new institutional context, and you learn to work in changing, conflictive and highly politicized environments.
You join a flexible program with specialization courses that offer the possibility of obtaining two degrees in a short time.
WHAT DO YOU STUDY?
You develop strategies for influencing the public agenda through the analysis of different manifestations of power and the evaluation of its consequences, for the purpose of generating legitimate and effective proposals that contribute to social cohesion. You learn to design, assess and implement public policies that reflect and deal with the complexity of social issues while addressing the diverse interests and perspectives of contemporary society through the use of analytical tools and rigorous argument. You analyze, select and apply tools to effectively manage public resources and improve the effectiveness, efficiency, openness, transparency and performance of government agencies, in compliance with regulatory and institutional frameworks.
