Develop biological technology and start up a business with an ethical approach
THIS PROGRAM IS FOR YOU IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN:
Life sciences, mathematics and technology; developing an ethical perspective as you work with living organisms and carrying out bioprocesses for the benefit of society; broadening your knowledge in genetics and chemistry; coming up with new solutions for health, food and environmental issues and transforming those solutions into business opportunities.
REASONS TO STUDY AT ITESO
You acquire scientific skills and knowledge that enable you to propose solutions based on the productive processes of cells for purposes of environmental improvement, biopharmaceutical production, or food production. You cultivate your entrepreneurial spirit by developing your own biotechnology projects with the support of ITESO's Biotechnology Business Incubator.
WHAT DO YOU STUDY?
In Biotechnology Engineering you learn to develop technology and processes based on bioprocesses with living cells that offer benefits for society. You undertake a plan of studies that centers on three fundamental areas: Engineering Sciences, Chemical Sciences and Applied Bioprocesses. You receive an ethical, comprehensive education, based on ITESO's fundamental orientations. You obtain professional experience by collaborating on real industrial projects at ITESO's Biotechnology Laboratories.
