Your program
In Public Administration and Global Policies you learn to manage public resources in the interest of efficient and transparent governments. You analyze and design sustainable urban management strategies to improve the population's quality of life. You learn to create and implement public policies and you develop analysis and argumentation skills to generate legitimate and effective proposals that contribute to social harmony.
If you're interested in formulating solutions to political, social and economic problems; debating, negotiating and generating agreements; wielding power and resolving conflicts; and influencing the way public decisions are made, this program is for you.
Graduate profile
When you graduate from Public Administration and Global Policies you can work on solutions to public problems, the design and implementation of better forms and practices of government, and the creation of mechanisms for citizen participation. In addition, you can design, manage and assess projects that contribute to social development and justice. You can mediate and conciliate before government authorities, national and international chambers and organizations; raise government funds to develop industrial, technological, cultural and educational projects; serve as a spokesperson to mediate between the civil society and the government; position matters of public interest in the media; assess and evaluate government performance; conduct projects related to government modernization, process reengineering, public value creation and strategic urban planning; occupy positions in public administration and elected office. You can also work in chambers of commerce, academics and political parties.
Professional Application Projects (PAP)
