In Nanotechnology Engineering you learn to develop technology by modifying the geometrical arrangement of a material's atoms. You learn principles and experimental techniques to understand, characterize, manipulate and exploit the properties of materials. You do in-depth inquiry into engineering science, physics and math in order to create and innovate products using nanomaterials. You work in labs with cutting-edge equipment and technology in order to manufacture and characterize nanostructures with new properties.

As a Nanotechnology Engineer you'll be able to analyze, innovate and create frontier technology to solve problems in industry and to drive research and the technological development of companies and organizations in the electronic and telecommunications sectors; in the food and pharmaceutical industries; in medicine and healthcare; and in the metal-mechanical, environmental and aerospace fields. You can work for companies that require the design of new materials for creating new products. You can do physical and chemical characterization of materials at research centers or start up your own company with the support of ITESO's Technology Park.
