Your program
In Food Engineering your work aims to benefit people's health, thus you learn to characterize, develop, process and innovate nutritious foods that can be made available to all types of consumers. You study national and international food regulations. You learn to improve and create new types of packaging, and more sustainable industrial manufacturing processes. You conduct food safety studies to ensure that foods are risk-free. You look for new uses of sub-products commonly obtained during food processing.
If you're interested in chemistry and microbiology, in designing and developing healthy foods with new processing technologies and contents in active smart packaging, this program is for you.
