Your program

In Architecture you analyze and understand the social dynamics of cities, in order to propose solutions through architectural projects.
You learn different disciplines related to Architecture, such as urban planning, representation, construction, the conservation of cultural heritage, and alternative and sustainable technologies to transform the spaces of your habitat. If you're interested in construction, design, urban planning, the environment, and artistic expressions, this program is for you.

Graduate profile

As an Architecture graduate you will be capable of starting your own firm or joining work teams in decision-making positions. Your critical spirit will allow you to analyze problems and propose comprehensive, creative and sustainable solutions. Moreover, you can engage in research and develop sustainable building technologies, or continue your studies and study a graduate program anywhere in the world.

Projects of Professional Application (PAP)

Professional Application Projects are real-world projects proposed by ITESO to engage you with society in a way that is consistent with your study program. They allow you to collaborate with other students and apply your knowledge or socio-professional skills in a real-life scenario, working with beneficiaries from outside the university, either communities or institutions, with the aim of devising solutions that improve the quality of life of other people and reaffirm your profession's social commitment.

La Primavera Forest
With the idea of fostering a culture of environmental protection, we offer training programs on environmental education and comprehensive sustainable management on the 27 hectares of the Flora and Fauna Protection Area in the core and recovery zones of La Primavera Forest. ITESO works on different initiatives to protect this forest and mitigate its deterioration, including the "Land and Landscaping Management Plan for La Primavera Forest" project. This project includes the participation of Law, Communication, Architecture, Environmental Engineering and Civil Engineering students, who with the guidance of professors have done resource inventory, a master plan and "Good Practices Manuals" to undertake concrete projects that involve citizens and authorities, thus complementing municipal and state development plans.
